hi, I\'m an asian girl studying in england (2 months now). Since I got here I\'ve been mixing with a lot of white people, and I noticed that they seem to have different expectations when it comes to dating and relationships. Im interested in dating white guys but I\'ve onli ever dated asians so i\'d like some info on what to expect and how to handle things.

e.g. 1. a guy asked if i\'m a virgin, is it ok to say i am or do i hv to lie about it, coz my white girlfriends seem to find it really shocking? 2. how do i tell if a guy is genuinely interested or just trying to pick me up for sex? 3. if a guy has slept with like 3 girls in 2 weeks, is that normal? 4. if i kiss a guy in a club, will he be expecting anything else? 5. is there any difference flirting with white guys and asian guys? 6. if i date a white guy, will he definitely expect me to sleep with him, and soon?

those are just a few of the things i was wondering about. If you have any other tips, please let me know! thx!

This has nothing to do with white / asian, this is a cultural difference.

The guy who asked if you\'re virgin? Tell him it\'s none of his business!
You always get to say \"no\" to sex if you want
There is no term for a male slut, but if a guy sleeps with 3 different girls in 2 weeks, stay away from that!
If you kiss a guy, he\'ll take what he can get.
If you date an asian guy, does he automatically expect to sleep with you?

Most of these are cultural questions, not race questions.

1. if a guy asks if you\'re a virgin, he is in it for sex. Do not even answer him, tell him to piss off
2. you can tell what the guy wants based on how quickly he starts talking about \'sexual\' things. If the conversation goes on for quite some time with no touching on subjects like sex, boyfriends, after parties, then he is probably genuinely interested in you and you should give him a shot.
3. yes this is normal. lots of people are not into relationships and would rather have strictly sexual relationships with several people than one serious, committed relationship.
4. if you kiss a guy in the club, he will be wanting something else but not expecting it. Guys know most girls aren\'t easy.
5. white guys are alot more sexual and to the point
6. it totally depends on the white guy, some are classy some are trashy (which I assume is the same with asians)

either way, im not sure how old you are or anything but you should embrace your sexuality if you want. It is something you learn to really really really, almost too much, really LOVE. White guys come equipped with better gear than asians. haha

To try to answer some of your questions
1. I would say it is fine to say you are a virgin, this might even help to get rid of some guys looking for casual sex. I remember a common line I was given was \"I have slept with two other guys before, the first time I didn\'t really want to, the second time was with a guy I loved but he is now dead/in another country/married/a women (delete as appropriate)\" this generally meant they were extensively knowledgeable in the bedroom department.
2. Most guys would like sex as soon as possible, just get to know someone first, you have a choice here as well - you do not have to sleep with someone just because they want to, you will know if it is the right thing to do in your heart.
3. I would say it is not normal - but not unknown.
4. Kissing someone is kind of indicating you would like to take things further.
5. Sorry don\'t know about that one
6. I would say he would like to sleep with you but again its up to you.

I hope that\'s of some help - remember that\'s just my opinion

reading some of the other answers - I would agree that if someone you have only just met asks if you are a virgin, avoid them!
